HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

Who looks and deals with your information:

Pixelache (Piknik Frequency Ry) is a registered association that has several member who access this site, some of these members are active in editing the site others have had access in the past to edit pages but can not actively see the data of visitors to this site. Pixelache is administered through a decentralized system, the day to day running of the site cycles through different members as needed, the website is managed through a custom content management system. Pixelache has one permanent staff member who is the Financial Manager and does not have access to website data. Pixelache has a board of between 4-8 members, who have access to the website.

We only deal with information that you give us and we keep that information until you tell us to get rid of it. We do not give your information to anyone unless you explicitly say that we must do so, and we limit the personnel who can see your information to the people who need to use it in order to send out our news letter, to send out our invoices, and to answer your questions about different and various matters concerning Pixelache.

When signing up for our newsletter we only deal with your name and your email address. It is possible to sign up to our news letter by email, or by personally visiting our festival. We store the paper version of our mailing list in a private location and the digital mailing list on a private computer.

In order to send out our newsletter we use MailChimp, internally we communicate via email and slack. Both of these will have some records that they keep from our communications and that information may or may not move across continents and the globe.

Our workers and interns are contractually held to not reveal your data.

We are currently working on encrypting your data and our servers.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to check what information we hold of you.

You have the right to demand that we do not deal with all or parts of your information.

You have the right to demand that we do not use your information for our newsletter.

You have the right to demand that we remove all or parts of your information from our systems.
