Build a larger table\u00a0is a project which aims to gather in a relaxed environment, with food and drinks to hold conversations and share recipes on social sustainability and experiences on working together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These talks are broadcasted and shared to the public domain through the\u00a0Station of Commons website<\/a>. An edited podcast will be accessible in December on Pixelache website and\u00a0Soundcloud.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The title\u00a0Build a larger table\u00a0comes from an apocryphal quote that says \u201cwhen you have more than you need build a larger table not a taller fence\u201d. The concept resonated with the intentions of this project, where we wanted to share a moment of togetherness and joy around food, in order to have conversations with collectives that have been shaping the cultural context in Helsinki for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For November’s gathering\u00a0and chapter 3 of the series,\u00a0we will invite\u00a0Kiila<\/a>,\u00a0Finland’s longest-running left-wing, writers’ and artists’ organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
