Build a larger table<\/em> is a project that aims to gather in a relaxed environment, with food and drinks to hold conversations and share recipes on social sustainability and experiences on working together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These talks will be broadcasted and shared to the public domain through the Station of Commons website<\/a>. An edited podcast will be accessible later on Pixelache website and Soundcloud<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The title Build a larger table<\/em> comes from an apocryphal quote that says “when you have more than you need build a larger table not a taller fence”. The concept resonates with the intentions of this project, sharing a moment of togetherness and joy around food, in order to have conversations with collectives that have been shaping the cultural context in Helsinki for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the September gathering we will invite the electronic collective KOELSE, who has been active for more than 20 years, organizing music and art events in Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
